Welcome to Flipzo. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Flipzo is a 100% offline utility application designed for shopkeepers and individuals to manage credit ledgers (Udhar / Jama) securely on their own devices.
2. Zero External Data Transfer
We do not transmit, sync, or upload any of your data to cloud servers. Flipzo Tech has absolutely no access to the entries you make inside the app. The app operates in a completely isolated environment on your phone.
3. Data You Input & Local Storage
To function as a ledger manager, the app allows you to manually input specific information about your customers. This data is stored strictly locally on your device's internal memory (SQLite Database).
The types of data you may input include:
- Customer Name: To identify the ledger account.
- Mobile Number: To contact customers.
- Transaction Details: Amounts for Credit (Udhar), Debit (Jama), Advance, and Remarks.
This information is used solely for displaying your ledger balance within the app and is never shared with us or any third parties.
4. No Internet Required
Flipzo works completely offline and does not require an active internet connection to function. Since there is no internet connectivity used for data processing, your financial entries and customer lists remain private on your device.
5. Permissions
Flipzo is designed to be privacy-first and requires no sensitive permissions to operate.
- No Contact Access: We do not scan your phonebook. You manually enter names/numbers.
- No Location Access: We do not track where you are.
- No Camera/Microphone: We do not access media hardware.
6. Data Retention & Loss Warning
Because Flipzo is an offline app with no cloud backup:
- Your data lives only on your phone.
- If you uninstall the app or clear the app data from settings, all your ledgers will be permanently deleted.
- We cannot recover lost data as we do not have a copy of it.
7. Children's Privacy
Flipzo is intended for business and personal utility use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. As all data is locally stored by the user, parents have full control over the device content.
8. Third-Party Services
We do not use third-party analytics, tracking tools, or share data with advertising networks. The app is completely self-contained.
9. Advertising
Flipzo is 100% Ad-Free. We do not display banners, pop-ups, or video ads, ensuring a distraction-free experience for managing your accounts.
10. Your Rights
Since you hold the data locally, you have absolute control. You can:
- View: Access all your ledgers instantly.
- Edit: Modify customer names or transaction amounts.
- Delete: Remove specific transactions or delete a customer entirely from the app.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. Updates will be posted here and in the app's 'About' section.
